Daily support between clinical visits
Monitoring at home
Readings from the program's connected devices sync to the Dario app, so members and coaches can see trends.
Guidance and coaching
Lessons and prompts on food, activity and medication routines, with coaching by certified diabetes educators and other specialists, by program.
Reports members can share
Members can share their readings and reports with their own doctors.
Coaching supports self-management. It is not medical treatment: diagnosis, prescribing and medication changes stay with licensed clinicians.
Two ways to add clinical care
Some members need a clinical decision, such as starting a medication, that coaching cannot provide. Clinical care can come from the clinicians members already have, from Dario's licensed provider partners, or both.
Work with your existing clinicians
- Members can be referred to your own provider network.
- Members can share their readings and reports with their doctors.
- How referrals reach your clinicians is agreed during program design. Any data exchange is scoped and set up for each client.
Add partner-delivered services
- Licensed provider partners, not Dario, deliver medical services. Dario does not practice medicine.
- Some partner services start from the Dario app; the clinical visit is with the licensed provider.
- Services are added to a program by agreement. They are not included in every program or price.
